What is pre-shipment?
Once we give an order to USPS (and before the order is shipped), it is in a status called "pre-shipment"
Why has my order been in pre-shipment so long?
There are two primary reasons an order stays in pre-shipment.
- The order is mistakenly not scanned by USPS, and will arrive at its destination without the tracking ever being updated
- Because of heavy volume, the package is still in processing at a USPS facility
Is my order lost?
Most of the time an order stuck in pre-shipment does arrive and is not lost.
What can we do about the order?
Unfortunately because USPS already has the package, there is nothing we can do about speeding up the delivery
